She’s Pregnant!

That’s right, folks. Kennye and I are expecting our first baby! As of this posting, we’re right at 11 weeks or so. Kennye is going to her OB tomorrow for an ultrasound, after which I’ll likely make another post with a picture of it.
The doctor we’re going to won’t do an ultrasound to determine the sex until around week 20. Until then, if you have a gut feeling that it’s a boy or girl, you can cast your vote under the Current Poll section on the right.
Right now we’re reading just about every baby book under the sun. I’d like to say a special thank you to Heather and Traci for their recommendations and letting us borrow a few of their own books. I’ll probably write about a few of our favorites in the Books section when I get a chance.
Since this is going to be the most exciting thing going on for the next 6 months, you can expect a lot of baby updates. I’ll post all the ultrasounds and other pictures along the way. For now, you can read about all the things that go on during week 11 here: BabyCenter.com.
