A New Beginning

Well, I finally took the time to build a new Wordpress site for myself. There’s lots of tweaking to do, but I’d imagine i can get it done within a few weeks.

In the old model, every time I wanted to make some sort of update or post some pictures, I had to either edit the actual html pages or create an entirely new one. It was fun at first since it was something new (and I was eager to share the pictures of my house) but after a couple of months it began to be a real drag.

Enter Wordpress! Wordpress is a slick content management systems that let’s me easily make posts on the site as well as share my pictures. It should take most of the work out of posting. Hopefully that will translate into more frequent posting on my part, and more visits from family and friends.

One last benefit is that now people will be able to make comments on my posts and pictures. A little interactivity can go a long way!
