Chinese Calendar Predicts the Gender of Your Baby?

My mom mentioned recently that she looked up this Chinese calendar that supposedly can predict if you’re going to have a boy or a girl. Well, I just did a search on my own to see what it was all about. Kennye and I sat here and used the calendar for as many examples as we could think of to see how accurate it was. Surprisingly, it was correct for all of the examples we came up with (and were reasonably sure about the details).
I wanted to give you guys the opportunity to check it against your own children to see just how accurate this thing is. Here’s how it works: you take the age of the mother at the baby’s due date (or when he/she was born), and find that number along the left side. Then, make your way to the right until you reach the month the baby was conceived. The square you land on will indicate boy or girl.
The chart below is the famous Chinese calendar used to predict a baby’s gender. I’d like for those of you who have children to use it to see just how accurate it is and then leave a comment at the bottom of the page. Should be fun!
